ABOUT:

This festival isn’t just about giving underground musicians the platform they deserve; it’s about standing together for a cause that truly matters. It’s for our military veterans and younger generation, who have sacrificed more than anyone should ever endure.

PTSD, depression, schizophrenia, insomnia, anxiety, and bipolar disorder are just some of the battles our combat veterans face every day. I’ve watched my brothers and sisters carry these burdens too many times. Some never get the chance to get the help they deserve. And to be honest, if you’ve seen the E:W:L INDIE Review Show, you know I’m dealing with my own past struggles too. But together, we can make a difference. Kindness and Love will always conquer the hate that our society brings on us.

It is not just veterans, mental health affects us all, especially our youth. Suicide is the second leading cause of death among teens aged 15 to 19, and it’s the leading cause of death for kids aged 14 to 15. These aren’t just statistics; they’re lives cut short because mental health is too often ignored or brushed aside. Why? I don’t understand it, and I refuse to accept it.

We’re here to change that. This festival isn’t just about music, it’s about taking a stand. A movement. A loud message that will finally be heard! The underground scene has a voice! Just because we’re outcasts, doesn’t mean we can’t spread our music and support!

60% of the proceeds will go directly to military charity and mental health charities dedicated to providing the support to our younger generation and troops! Something that they desperately need and deserve.

Join us at the MISSISSIPPI VALLEY FAIRGROUNDS, in Davenport Iowa! Friday October 10th - Saturday October 11th! This festival is about more than music, it’s about hope, healing, and creating real change. Let’s stand together and make an impact that truly matters.

CHARITIES WE ARE DONATING TO

Punk In The Corn LLC is proud to announce that 60% of the profits from our music festival will be donated to support military and mental health charities.

Wounded Warrior Project

Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) began in 2003 as a small, grassroots effort providing simple care and comfort items to the hospital bedsides of the first wounded service members returning home from the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. As their post-service needs evolved, so have our programs and services.

Today, through our direct programs in mental health, career counseling, and long-term rehabilitative care, along with our advocacy efforts, they improve the lives of millions of warriors and their families.

K9s For Warriors

Determined to end Veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors provides highly-trained Service Dogs to military veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma.

With the majority of dogs being rescues, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery.

Child Mind Institute

At the Child Mind Institute, we advance children’s mental health through compassionate and uncompromising clinical care, a revolutionary approach to the science of the developing brain, and wide-reaching public education and community programs.

  • Punk in the Corn is proud to partner with the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds to host our upcoming festival, a celebration of independent music, community, and giving back. This partnership is more than just a location; it’s about creating a space where people can come together to share their love of music while supporting meaningful causes.

  • The Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, known for its vibrant role in bringing people together, is the perfect setting for this incredible event. Together, we’re creating a festival that highlights amazing indie bands, fosters connection, and gives back to local charities, making a real impact where it matters most.

CHARACTERS

Deep in the heart of the Mississippi Valley, where the soil grows thick and the amps grow louder, there’s a cornfield unlike any other. Not because of the yield… but because of the attitude. Out of that field came four loud-ass legends, born from kernels of chaos and raised on feedback and fury.

These weren’t your average cornstalks. These were outcasts. Misfits. Broken but never buried. Together, they formed a band. Together, they became PUNK IN THE CORN!
